InSpiration: Spark that Ignites Life

I went to meet a couple of my friends last weekend. One of the beautiful aspects of reuniting with friends is reassurance. It comes with knowing that you have a support system that extends beyond time and distance. As we were engrossed in sharing inside jokes to milestone celebrations, one of our friends suddenly asked, Hey!! this was the first time we had seen you writing, except for a few thoughts at times... What is this new advancement? Where did you get this idea and inspiration from?? Hmm... the question was already answered.

inSpiration!!

A few days ago one of my teachers had read a blog I had written on marriage years back. And her words of encouragement ignited the spirit to write more. And to be true I have people around me who inSpire me every day. And that's how I started writing. Inspiration can ignite our passions, fuel our creativity, and drive us to new innovations. Whether it comes from a captivating story, an influential quote, or a role model's achievements, inspiration has the potential to shape our lives in reflective ways. They can positively impact our personal and professional development.

Month’s back I was having a light talk with one of my favourite friends about being a workaholic and working overtime. The friend replied “it is a cardinal principle to clear files every day and have zero pendency of the file for the next day as it would attract the negative energy of yesterday from the beginning of the next day”. The ease of our conversation then went in some other direction but somewhere it had left me motivated to a great extent.

Inspiration often sparks a sense of vision and purpose within us. When we encounter stories of perseverance, triumph over adversity, or acts of kindness, we are reminded of the limitless potential of the human spirit. These moments of inspiration challenge us to reflect on our values and aspirations, guiding us toward a clearer understanding of what truly matters to us and what we want to achieve in life. Inspired by this, we become more resilient in the face of adversity and more determined in the pursuit of our goals.

Whether it comes from art, music, nature, or the achievements of others, inspiration has the power to spark new ideas, perspectives, and solutions to problems. By embracing inspiration, we cultivate a culture of innovation that drives progress and positive change in our lives and communities. Perhaps the most significant lesson we learn from inspiration is the power of taking action and making a difference. We must turn our aspirations into reality and create meaningful change in our lives and the world.

Yes!! inSpiration is a transformative force that enriches our lives in countless ways. From fostering vision and purpose to cultivating resilience and compassion, the lessons we earn from inspiration empower us to become the best versions of ourselves and make a positive impact on the world.

Mother of an Autistic child: Balancing Caregiving and Self-Care

The journey of motherhood with autistic children is a beautiful testament to the strength, love, and resilience of both the child and the mother. Motherhood is a journey filled with joys, challenges, and unexpected twists. For mothers of autistic children, this journey may come with unique hurdles and complexities. It is an adventure filled with unique challenges and triumphs, and above all, it's a journey marked by unconditional love and acceptance.  During my training in a therapy center, I have seen mothers of autistic children demonstrate extraordinary patience, understanding, and dedication as they navigate the complexities of raising a child with autism. They tirelessly advocate for their child's needs, whether it's seeking out the best educational resources, accessing therapeutic interventions, or breaking down societal barriers to inclusion. These mothers celebrate every milestone, no matter how small, and find joy in the unique talents and perspectives their chil...

Clapping: A distinctive advantage for the third gender

O ne evening while returning back from office, I took an auto-rickshaw. Leaning back in the seat, I closed my eyes for a moment, feeling the cool breeze and sway of the vehicle navigating through the busy streets. As it halted at a traffic, I opened my eyes and looked out at the passing scenery and sounds of the bustling city. Suddenly I noticed few third genders standing on the traffic waiting for the signal to cross the road.  Typically, as I pass by any third gender I think about their living, employability and acceptance into the main stream livelihood. I admire by how brave they were to be themselves in a world that often fails to understand or accept them. I felt a surge of admiration for their courage and resilience, and a commitment to stand up for equality and acceptance for all members of the community. As they made their way across the street, I silently cheered them on, grateful for their presence and the reminder to always be a friend in the need for inclusivity and ...

Draped in memories: Holi celebrations in the timeless attires

H oli, the festival of colours, time of joyous celebrations, vibrant hues, and cherished memories. As the day arrived, I found myself standing in front of the wardrobe, looking at the forgotten corner and thinking about what to wear for the day’s activities. During the search, I could feel the magic in revisiting the old days associated with the dresses. I could smell the faint scent of memories that lingered within the folds. These dresses were silent spectators to the laughter, friendships, trials and pure spirits of the good old days. Each dress had witnessed moments of joy, sorrow, victory, and loss. The moment I slipped into its familiar embrace, I felt nostalgic, carrying me back to simpler times. The clothes whispered secrets of the long past, laughter shared with the dear ones, wipes of inconsolable tears and lot more. The old outfits became a medium of tangible link to memories through which I relived moments of absolute bliss and bitter-sweet desires, taking o...
